1st Woldingham Scout Group’s 2023 adventures provided our young people with some fantastic and unforgettable opportunities to make new friends, discover hidden talents, explore the world and just give things a go. The Scout Organisation believes that young people learn by doing and our wonderful local team of dedicated volunteer leaders have already been hard at work planning yet another incredible programme for 2024, full of exciting activities to engage and challenge children of all ages and abilities while developing their confidence, independence and skill set.

This year our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are looking forward to more camping adventures, rock climbing, scrambling, sailing and watersports, spring and autumn cross country championships, our annual summer cycle expedition and picnic, reptile encounters, crafts, navigation skills practise, lots of interesting badge work and much more besides that! The huge variety of badge work undertaken is a great example of how our young people are developing a huge variety of life skills during their scouting journey.

I want the public to know how Scouting continues to open young people’s eyes to a world of extraordinary promise and possibilities.'
